Hardware:
Desktops:
Dell Dimension B733t - My main desktop, used for image editing and HTML layout and programming as well as testing layouts and scripts.

Generic Pentium II/266 MHz - Test machine, used to test HTML layout and client-side code on other browsers.

Portable:
Toshiba Portégé 7200 - My notebook, used for HTML, javascript, and php programming. Also for testing layouts and scripts.

Cameras:
Konica Minolta Dimage Xg - My current camera which I carry with me nearly at all times. It's literally smaller than my wallet. Very slick.

Nikon Coolpix 2500 - My previous camera. Upgraded since it wasn't as compact as I wanted and because pictures in low light were blurry.

Olympus C-2000 Z - My older camera. It has some features which my newer camera lacks which include a remote control, a viewfinder, and panoramic mode.

Scanner:
Canon CanoScan N 650U - For those images that existed before digital photography.

Software:
Image editing:
Corel Painter 8 - Almost exclusively, for all logos, images, and photographs; Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 for some .gif and .png editing and some .gif animation.

Image plug-ins:
Auto FX Photo/Graphic Edges 4.0 and Corel Kai's Power Tools - Though I rarely use KPT anymore; I use PGE for just about all logos with photographs.

HTML editing:
Borland CodeWright v7.5 - No, it's not a WYSIWYG HTML editor. It's an exceptional programmers' editor. Yes, I do all my HTML layout manually.

Languages:
HTML (Duh.) and Cascading Style Sheets for web page layout, Javascript for client side scripts, and Php for server side scripts.

Reference Books:
HTML:
HTML: The Definitive Guide, 3rd Edition - Great book with good examples.

HTML Pocket Reference, 1st Edition - And its kid brother.

JavaScript:
JavaScript: The Definitive Guide, 3rd Edition - Another good reference and has list of functions; though not as crisp as the HTML book.

Cascading Style Sheets:
Cascading Style Sheets: The Definitive Guide, 2nd Edition - A very good reference. Lists all properties, differences between CSS2 and CSS2.1, and browser differences in implementations.

CSS Pocket Reference, 2nd Edition - And its kid brother.

Grammar:
Grammatically Correct by Anne Stilman - Great reference with concise examples.

Web Services:
Hosting:
DreamHost web hosting - Good combination of services with a reasonable price; they pay for one domain registration if you host your site for a full year. If you use me as reference (user id bluedragon), I get a 10% kickback!

Guestbook:
DreamBook guestbook server - by far the most configurable guestbook server I've found and free (with ads) and without ads if you host your site with DreamHost.

Search engine:
FreeFind intrasite search engine - This is great if you keep an online journal and want to search by either names or keywords. And as the name suggests it's free.

Web stats:
Site Meter - Tracks site hits, search engine hits, and even navigation. And it's free.
